Of course, Sarah claims that it was several weeks between the two men. In any case, Sarah is pregnant and pretty close to her due date.

After Sarah learned she was pregnant, Rex assumed he was the father. However, Sarah had to tell him that it was impossible based on the math.

It’s no secret that Rex has always wanted Sarah back. Rex made it very clear that he believed Sarah made a huge mistake marrying Xander.

After the pregnancy discovery, Rex offered to claim Sarah’s baby was his in order to keep Xander away. At the time, Sarah thought it was the best solution, especially with a job offer in Chicago.

Now that Sarah has returned to Salem after Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) death, she has run into Xander.

Of course, Xander assumed that Sarah was carrying his child. When Sarah claimed the baby belonged to Rex, Xander didn’t buy it. Sarah once again would use the explanation that she “did the math” to determine paternity.

This led to Sarah telling Rex that she accepts his marriage proposal. This will also cause Kate Roberts Brady (Lauren Koslow) to worry about Rex. Kate fears that Rex is just setting himself up to get a broken heart all over again.
