Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Salem Stunned By Acting Mayor’s Stunning Action

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers indicate that Clint Rawlings (Grayson Berry) has become the acting mayor in Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) absence. The acting mayor is about to make a stunning move that will shock the residents of Salem. Unfortunately, Abe cannot reveal himself because Whitley King (Kim Coles) is keeping him drugged so that he cannot escape her clutches. What is the new mayor about to do?

Shawn Brady’s Head Is On The Chopping Block

Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) has been drinking uncontrollably since he shot Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) in Greece.

Of course, Shawn thought his father was programmed to kill and Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) seemed to be his target at the time. Little did Shawn know that Hope had just broken through to Bo right before he pulled that trigger.

Melinda Trask (Tina Huang), Salem’s D.A. will catch Shawn drinking on the job, something Belle Black (Martha Madison) had already warned him about.

Melinda will report Shawn to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and demand he be fired. However, Rafe will opt for a suspension and order Shawn to straighten up so he can come back to work when he is sober.

Shawn is far from happy with Rafe’s decision to force him to take some time off. Shawn doesn’t see the big deal in his drinking since he doesn’t believe it is affecting his job.

Shawn will argue this point with Rafe and things will get a bit heated. Unfortunately, in his partially intoxicated state, Shawn will bring up Rafe breaking the rules by dating Jada Hunter (Ella Cantu) even though they aren’t officially together.

Rafe and Jada have both been warned about getting into a relationship because Rafe is her boss. Although Rafe and Shawn will argue behind closed doors, that does not mean they won’t be overheard.

Abe overlooked the kiss Jada and Rafe shared while they were high on biscuits from Sweet Bits but this is far more serious.

Since Abe is presumed dead, Clint is going to do everything he can to keep his job as the acting mayor. Unfortunately, this will land both Shawn and Rafe in trouble since both are breaking rules although their infractions are completely different.

Rawlings will certainly want to make a good impression so look for Rafe and Shawn to receive some bad news because of their actions.

Clint may not be the acting mayor for long but he will certainly cause a stir while he is trying to fill Abe’s shoes. Thankfully, Abe will soon be back on the job and setting things straight.

Will Rafe and Shawn still have a job when Abe returns? Will Abe enlist changes that will allow Jada and Rafe to be together despite the current city ordinances?
