Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) needs a new job now that he has been kicked off the Salem PD. Could Rafe do with a change of career and join Black Patch as a private eye?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Rafe Hernandez Lost His Job As Police Commissioner

Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal that Rafe has been the police commissioner for quite some time.

However, Rafe got into a relationship with Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) which was against the rules of the city ordinances. City employees are not allowed to date a subordinate and that is what Jada is considering she is a police detective.

Jada and Rafe tried to control their feelings for each other. However, once Rafe got good news about Jada’s sister, Rafe had to rush and tell her what he had found out.

Of course, if Jada hadn’t answered the door in a towel, things might not have gone so far. Rafe and Jada tried to keep the secret but Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) couldn’t keep his mouth shut.

DOOL Spoilers – Rafe Hernandez Is Ex-FBI

Rafe worked for the FBI before he took the job as a cop in Salem. Rafe fell in love with Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) while he was protecting her when she was pregnant.

Rafe started working on the Salem PD and worked his way through the ranks. Rafe still has contacts with the FBI but has never got back to the force there.

Of course, Rafe has had a few issues that may not line up with renewing his career at the FBI even if he wanted to.

Some of Rafe’s girlfriends would certainly be frowned upon, such as Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun).

Perhaps the regulations implied by law enforcement would make it a lot easier for Rafe to find another job that doesn’t include being a cop.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Black Patch Could Use Some Manpower

Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) could certainly use some help at Black Patch. John and Steve had to travel to Los Angeles to hunt a suspect in the Abe Carver (James Reynolds) case.

John and Steve could use some help when it comes to traveling across the country to find someone they need to speak with.

Rafe certainly has the skills needed to work in the private investigation industry. Rafe also knows John and Steve and gets along with both of them.

Rafe could certainly be an asset to the Black Patch team. Will Rafe join Black Patch and continue his relationship with Jada? Could Abe return as mayor and change the rules to give Rafe back his job?
