Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) will fight to salvage her job. Did her not-so-secret relationship with Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) sabotage it?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – The Propriety Of Impropriety

It would seem that Melinda and Li’s relationship has not been so secret-and acting Mayor Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) shows up at Melinda’s office with some questions.

Specifically, she questions the propriety of a District Attorney being in a romantic relationship with someone she had once prepared warrants on, an egregious impropriety.

More than anything, Paulina might just want to stick it to Melinda for the past harassment and other things she had approved concerning Sloan Petersen’s (Jessica Serfaty) smear campaign.

Paulina has likely noticed that Melinda’s kind of cozied up to Sloan as well, but now she’s got the authority to strike back-and Melinda knows Paulina can fire her. And, strike back she does-with a vengeance, intending to replace the deceitful DA!

DOOL Spoilers – Melinda Trask Pleads For Mercy

Basically, Paulina tells Trask to strike from the record anything Sloan came after her and Chanel for, and wipe it from the archives-she doesn’t want anyone digging up that dead horse.

If she doesn’t she’ll fire her for her inappropriate relationship with Shin, and Paulina says she has proof-Melinda tries to argue, but Paulina has witnesses.

Melinda pleads for mercy, a very un-Melinda like move, and claims she was doing some investigation of Shin and trying to get him to confess to a crime.

Paulina retorts she doesn’t believe that herself, and she should know anything she got Shin to implicate himself would be thrown out of court by a competent defense attorney.

Besides, that’s not the job of the district attorney-that’s the job of the Salem PD, and right now, they’re just a little stretched thin with some having issues.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Melinda Trask Desperately Tries To Salvage Her Job

Paulina’s been doing her homework on Melinda and her love life, she also brings up her perceived affair with Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash).

Melinda pleads innocent on that, that was merely a move agreed upon with Stefan to make Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) jealous.

It was nothing but a show, and besides, she’d eaten some of those drugged biscuits and so had he, and the comment about the biscuits raises Paulina’s ire.

That drugged biscuit business had caused Chanel’s bakery to be shut down, and when the acting mayor was acting up he shut her bakery down.

Thankfully, he’s been removed and replaced, and there won’t be issues with him-but right now, Paulina’s dealing with Melinda!
