Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Lucas And Orpheus Showdown, John Intervenes, Saves A Life?

Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease that at Statesville Prison, there will be a showdown between Lucas Horton (Bryan Datillo) and Orpheus (George DelHoyo).

According to DOOL spoilers, Lucas will have a death wish for Orpheus once he finds out he tried to kill his mother and even more so when he hears Kate Brady (Lauren Koslow) has died.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Lucas Horton Hears From His Family

Lucas hears about Kate’s relapse and from his family, Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) makes a visit to support Lucas. John breaks up an argument between Lucas and Orpheus initially, although it’s sure that John wants to strangle Orpheus as much as Lucas does. Lucas leaves the visitation room to check on Kate’s condition, but is horrified to hear that only within a few minutes from first hearing from Roman and Rex, she has died.

Lucas goes through the gamut of emotions, as can be expected, being in prison and not having been able to even say goodbye to his mother. Lucas feels sorrow, regret, revenge and rage all at the same time, and he goes straight for Orpheus’ throat!

DOOL Spoilers – John Black Intervenes, Saves A Life

John intervenes and once again holds Lucas back from Killing Orpheus as Orpheus counters, breaking up the fight. John has to balance out whether seeing Orpheus killed in front of his own eyes is better than saving Lucas from a murder conviction he can’t get out of, likely. John knows all too well the anger and grief mix that makes one want to kill the person that’s ultimately behind a loved one’s death, if that’s the case. In the case of Kate, and soon Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) their deaths are directly attributable to Orpheus, and his revenge plot. This had gone on for many years, for Roman accidentally killing his wife, Rebecca (uncast character) in an ISA operation.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – A Peace Offering?

Later, Orpheus, famous for his mind games, decides to give Lucas a peace offering, knowing Lucas’ problem with alcohol addiction. Orpheus thinks of Lucas as the drunken Horton bastard, so contraband booze should be a nice gift. Lucas, in his devastated condition, is tempted although not quite trusting Orpheus’ booze or Orpheus himself-after all, Orpheus might have poisoned the booze!

Orpheus persists, telling Lucas he’s only trying to help take the edge off of his mother’s death. Lucas, however, does his best to resist Orpheus’ sick offer.
