Days of Our Lives spoilers and rumors tease two currently single Salemites try a dating app and go on a blind date to meet their perfect match. But when they see who each other is, Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) and Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) will be irked, since he’s had criminal charges and she’s the DA!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Shocked Isn’t The Word

Shocked isn’t the word when Li and Melinda meet at the place they agreed upon, under anonymous profiles of course-it’s strange a dating app doesn’t have photos; apparently this one doesn’t.

Somehow Li got out of that awkward attempted murder rap when it was found he was just Megan DiMera’s (Miranda Wilson) fall guy. But what he’s doing on a dating app when he claims he wants Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) back is a strange state of affairs, or has he finally moved on?

Perhaps his sister Wendy Shin (Victoria Grace) put him in the database; but at any rate, it winds up in a blind date. Both Li and Melinda are shocked as they’ve met before-at police stations and in courtrooms!

DOOL Spoilers: They Actually Have A Lot In Common

Li and Melinda decide to make the best of an awkward situation and start getting to know each other as people instead of perpetrator and prosecutor. They find they actually have quite a bit in common aside from the obvious things where they clash, and she gives good advice-you can’t force someone to love you.

They talk about the crazy spiked biscuits from Sweet Bits a while back and how it made Salem quite a bit less boring, even though Melinda became very ill afterwards.

They talk about things in China they remember from when they were very young-Melinda emigrated as a young college student and made her own way. This is far different than how women are treated in Li’s family, Wendy being astutely aware of that; Melinda seems very progressive for an Asian woman.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Seeing Past Each Other’s Reputations

Li and Melinda were able to see past each other’s reputations and connect on a friendly level, although a dating relationship would be quite awkward.

They find it humorous that Melinda has had an attraction to Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) so they have similar romantic problems.

Li finds it refreshing to have a female friend who understands his ambition, because Melinda is closely matched in that department.

The two oddly matched yet according to the dating app, perfectly matched couple agrees to a friendship but keep away from business discussions. Melinda and Li have to be careful which topics to discuss.
