However, she has been dropped down to recurring status. This actually makes sense considering we only see Kate once in a while. It doesn’t make the character any less important or relevant.

What it does mean is don’t expect to see much more of Kate than we do right now. Of course, that could always change in the future.

However, when a character suddenly goes down to recurring, it tends to make fans want to see more of them! So, maybe the writers are preparing something special for Kate.

A few years ago, Koslow had an interview in which she talked about what she wanted for Kate. The actress agreed that Kate has always succeeded in business, but struggles to find a forever love. Since then, Kate and Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) reunited and they seem happy.

So, is this Kate’s happy ending? It’s a happy chapter, but not an ending. Kate is still part of the show and remember, fewer lines and scenes don’t mean less important… so stay tuned!
