Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, September 4, 2023, reveal a new Salemite with a big mystery.

A sweet old man is now at Salem University Hospital, but he has no idea who he is. However, Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) and Julie Williams are both intrigued with him and try to go through a list of older people they may know.

None of those people ring a bell with this Old Man (Dick Van Dyke), but at least they can enjoy a song and a dance.

The trio performs an absolutely delightful rendition of Tea For Two that will be a throwback for so many fans.

Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) is also intrigued by this mystery man and decides John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) can help him find out who he is.

Marlena and John are happy to meet the man and take an instant liking to him. Marlena is the psychiatrist he may need right now in his confusion while John is the detective who can join Steve on this new and sweet mission.

Marlena is the woman who everyone seems to need right now, including Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun).

Ava was sure she was getting better at Bayview but then she started having visions of Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) and is sure she is losing her mind again.

Marlena agrees to help Ava in any way she can. Will Marlena figure out her old pal Susan is alive and tell Ava that she is not seeing things?

Or, will she finally be the person who brings Ava back to her senses? Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) has tried but he has his own set of problems to deal with.

Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) has to deal with shockingly finding Theresa Donovan (Jen Lilley) at his door. She is back in Salem for Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) funeral but has a few other surprises in store for Brady.

Does she bring news about Tate Black that Brady needs to hear or is her own personal life in a shambles as it often seems to be?
