Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Jen Lilley’s Heartfelt Note To Fans, Officially Exits Theresa Donovan Role

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers hint at some major changes in the land of Salem. Actress Jen Lilley returned to the show when Theresa Donovan came back to town to attend Victor Kiriakis’ (John Aniston) memorial.

While most fans knew that the stint was short-term, it wasn’t clear how long Jen would be sticking around.

Until now.

DOOL Spoilers: Last Airdate For Jen Lilley Revealed

Days spoilers note that Jen’s last airdate on the show is this Friday, September 22nd. Lilley hit Instagram recently to let fans know that this was her “last week” of exploring Theresa’s shenanigans.

She adds that playing the role on and off for the past decade has taught her a lot about grace and empathy.

Lilley reveals in the IG post that she has enjoyed every moment of playing Donovan’s ferocity and hilarious “sass” mixed in with “brokenness”. She writes to the DOOL cast and crew that she’ll “love” them forever and they are her family. The post had photos of her in scenes alone and with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson).

Days Spoilers: Who’s Up Next …?

In her IG post, Lilley pushes Days fans to “be kind” to her recast replacement, as she knows all too well how hard it is stepping into an established role. Still, while DOOL has been super quiet about the Theresa character and her next storyline, Donovan seems smack-dab in the middle of this recent drama in Greece, as she tries to make Brady jealous by seducing befriending Alex.

Meanwhile, there has been a buzz that actress Emily O’Brien, current Gwen Rizczech, is set to step into the Theresa Donovan role; however, the show has not confirmed this, yet. Gwen’s locked into quite the storyline herself, as she tries to bring down her hubby Dimitri Von Leuschner (Peter Porte) and bestie Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) for the betrayal of having an affair behind her back and duping her into marriage for money. It’s hard to say how this “transition” will happen.
