Stockholm Syndrome is described as when a hostage or captive becomes psychologically and emotionally attached to their captor, but it can happen in any relationship where one is being controlled.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Jada Hunter Doesn’t Understand Her Sister’s Loyalty

Jada doesn’t understand Talia’s loyalty to the psycho that held Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) hostage and pulled Talia into his insane plots. She doesn’t know a lot about what went on between them before she came to Salem with him following her or exactly what happened. But it was enough to convince Talia to leave behind what could have been a very lucrative medical career and even enough to fake changing her sexual preference to seduce Chanel.

It’s like he has a Svengali-like hold over Jada’s sister and Jada doesn’t understand why..but when she examines her she finds signs of abuse. Yet, Talia won’t admit that Colin has hurt her physically or otherwise, or that she is controlled in any way..perhaps a consult with Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) is in order.

DOOL Spoilers – Marks From Bindings, Ankles And Wrists

Jada notes scars from bindings on ankles and wrists, and questions if Colin and she were into bondage sex-Talia’s eyes fill with fear as her voice quivers and hesitatingly answers yes. Jada knows the signs of someone held captive or forced at different times and the tone in Talia’s voice and the way she follows her “yes” with “that’s it” proves it. Talia acts like she’s Colin’s slave and he’s her master, and not in a manner that’s just play acting, and her answer was obviously a fearful cover. Jada hates to have had to arrest her own sister, but at least having to cuff her brought her attention to the old wounds. Perhaps this way she doesn’t have to be held in the Salem jail, but in protective custody and remain in the hospital at least until she can be evaluated psychologically.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – There Is A Psych Ward In Salem University Hospital

There is a psych ward in Salem University Hospital and when Jada talks to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) about her talk with her sister and her findings, he agrees. At least a forty-eight hour hold for evaluation and a consult with Marlena is definitely something that needs to be done, and then after, they can go from there. Talia appears to have been under duress at the very least with the crimes she committed for Colin, but the diagnosis has to be done to prove it.

Rafe will contact Marlena, who is recovered enough from her own ordeal to be back at work. They’ll get the evaluation and the forty-eight hour hold done through her.
