Johnny and Chanel recently spent time together and were eventually caught (once again) by Ms. Shin. Is DiMera making a huge mistake prioritizing his friendship with his ex-wife over his budding romance with Wendy?

DOOL spoilers suggest that there is unfinished business between Johnny and Chanel. After all, when he dumped her in 2022, it was because he was possessed by the Devil. Nothing went wrong between the two, it was just Satan causing chaos. When Dupree had to make a choice between Sami’s twins in early 2023, she chose Allie, but she still clearly had feelings for Johnny, too. DiMera had no other choice but to move on with his life, much to his dismay. When Wendy entered the little town, sparks flew between them. While Johnny is smitten with Shin, he clearly still cares for his ex-wife. Now that Allie’s exited storylines, will the two gravitate towards a reunion?

This might be a huge blunder on Johnny’s part. Wendy is an interesting character. She’s not only smart, level-headed, and beautiful, but her humor and wit help make her a Days fan favorite. Chanel’s a great gal, but she comes with a ton of baggage. Is Johnny making a mistake by running to his ex’s side and forgetting the gem he’s found in Ms. Shin? Perhaps Johnny’s loss will be Tripp Johnson’s (Luca Adam) gain. After all, he likes Wendy too, and Shin is pretty fond of the good doctor, as well.

DOOL spoilers imply Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillain) will soon join the cast the week of March 6th. Jada Hunter’s (Elia Cantu) little sister is about to apply for a position at Sweet Bits, so she’ll also be in Chanel’s orbit moving forward. But will the two form a simple friendship or possibly a romance? Could Talia also become an obstacle for Johnny when it comes to a romantic reunion with Chanel?
