Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Is DOOL Doing A Play On New Salem With Characters Deaths?

Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that writers seem to be doing something very strange with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), Kate Brady (Lauren Koslow), and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans). Kayla claims to have been on hold for weeks and none of the ladies are acting as if they are dead. Could the writers be doing a play on the former New Salem story?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Are These Ladies Really Dead?

Days Of Our Lives spoilers reveal that years ago several Salem residents “died”, however, they were later found on an island very much alive. At the time, Marlena was supposed to be the killer but the story later unraveled and every one was found alive. However, the residents of Salem had moved on without them in the meantime.

The writing doesn’t have these ladies acting as though they are dead but dealing with the devil for their souls before they die. Perhaps the ladies aren’t dead at all but instead, in a coma perhaps. Could the ladies be in a coma until one of them or more makes a deal with the devil that will bring him back to Salem?

DOOL Spoilers – A Time Jump Storyline

Having these ladies in a coma would make a lot of sense considering the afterlife story. Also if these women are going to come back from the dead without the help of Dr. Rolf, they need to still be alive. How else would they explain them returning after being dead for weeks? Are Marlena, Kayla, and Kate still on the brink of death?

Marlena, Kayla, and Kate could have been frozen like Bo Brady (Peter Reckell) but the technology isn’t in Salem at this time. If Days can do a time jump to cover a whole year, surely they can do a dream sequence while these three ladies hover near death. Perhaps John Black (Drake Hogestyn), Roman Brady (Josh Taylor), and Steve Johnson (Steven Nichols) are the ones dreaming.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Will The Three Ladies From Salem Survive?

This theory only works if Marlena, Kate, and Kayla survive. Of course, it is highly unlikely that Days writers will kill three main characters off for good. The “deaths of these ladies are more than likely to be used as a vessel to bring the devil back to Salem and wreak more havoc instead of getting rid of these three mothers.

Marlena has always been the one that the devil wanted and Kayla and Kate are likely bargaining chips instead of casualties. Also, killing Orpheus (George Del Hoyo) could be used as a vehicle to get Marlena to go along with the devil’s plan. Is this an attempt at New Salem revisited? Are these ladies really dead? Who will show back up in Salem alive and well?
