Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) feels pretty down and out after relationship after relationship has come crashing down around her and now her bakery might go out of business. She and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) worked hard to make something of Sweet Bits and then Allie just left her high and dry. Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian) was going to be her savior but those biscuits got tainted anyway.

She has no idea that Talia is the one who put the drug in the biscuit dough as part of a revenge plot with Colin Petersen (Jasper Newman) so when Talia asks Chanel on a date, she happily accepts. She needs a distraction right now and Talia looks like a good one. At least Jada Hunter remains on the case and is determined to get the truth out of her sister.

Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) confronts Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) after learning that she is moving in with Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) of all people. Why would she be friends with Xander? Is there something more than friendship going on? These are the things that Brady wants to know.

These are also the things that Chloe doesn’t want to answer. She and Brady are not in a relationship anymore and he has no right to demand to know things about her life. If Chloe wants to move in with Xander that is her business and nobody else’s. Will Brady finally get the very blatant hint that Chloe just wants to move on?
