Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease that an unexpected meeting at Bayview will give Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) a chance to make amends for the past. He runs into his high school girlfriend Eve Donovan (Kassie DePaiva) and regrets treating her badly when they were teenagers.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – First Encounter Of The Embarrassing Kind

Harris and Eve meet randomly in the halls of Bayview, both looking shocked to see one another; this is the first time in over thirty years they’ve reconnected. Harris recognizes Eve immediately, as Eve also recognizes him immediately. Harris tried to apologize to Eve years ago while they were in high school but she rejected his apology at that time.

Harris was one of a group of three high school boys who made a bet who could get Eve in bed first, her “promiscuity” a vicious rumor based on her looks. Harris dated her and made her feel special under false pretenses, and when she found out, it broke her heart-and changed her, and not for the better.

DOOL Spoilers – Total Jerk

Harris tells Eve, who is in Bayview for criminally insane behavior, that he was a total jerk in high school and he’s so, so sorry for how he mistreated her. He takes responsibility for ruining her life at that point in their young lives-they were seniors, and he would do anything to take it back. But of course he can’t, all he can do is try to make amends from this point forward; Eve had led a fraught life from that point. The young, emotionally devastated girl had gone on to lead a life of prostitution for several years, shaming her family and especially her straight-arrow father. Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) had been the head of the ISA for many years.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – A Knack For Revenge

As the former high school sweethearts continue to talk about how their lives progressed beyond high school, Eve notes she’s always had a knack for revenge. Harris has to wonder if she’s going to use that knack for revenge on him after all these years, as Eve is obviously still hurt and bitter. She tries to hide it, but he recognizes a woman scorned from the time of being a tender young teenager-he saw it in Megan DiMera (Miranda Wilson).

Eve never tried to track Harris down like Megan did Bo Brady, (Peter Reckell) and obviously didn’t go that far on the crazy train. But forgiveness comes hard for Eve, no matter how Harris pleads for it-now, it’s difficult for him to even forgive himself, so he does understand.
