Days of our Lives spoilers tease that Harris Michaels (Steve Burton) asked Dr. Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) to have him committed to Bayview Sanitarium because Harris has been brainwashed into becoming Megan DiMera’s (Miranda Wilson) personal hitman twice. He killed two sailors a year ago while searching for one of three very special prisms that Megan had been searching for. He almost killed Hope Brady (Kristian Alfonso) as well, but he hesitated.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Harris Michael Didn’t Realize He Had Been Brainwashed.

It wasn’t until Harris was apprehended and put in the custody of the ISA that it was discovered Megan has been controlling him. After a very intense deprogramming helmed by Kimberly Brady (Patsy Pease), Harris thought his mind was clear. Even so, he felt guilty for what Megan made him do so he came to Salem to keep an eye on her. But Megan decided she wanted her half-brother Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash) dead. To that end she captured Harris and ordered him to kill Stefan. Luckily, Harris failed in his mission. He still felt the need to kill Stefan until Marlena successfully removed the command.

DOOL Spoilers – Harris Michaels Doesn’t Know If He Is Free Of Megan’s Influence!

Although Harris seems to be back in control of his own thoughts, he worries that he could still be activated by Megan and hurt someone else. To that end, he requested Marlena commit him to Bayview until he can be sure his mind is truly his own. And since Marlena was the one to put him there, Harris cannot sign himself out without her.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Harris Michaels Can’t Resist Ava Vitale!

Harris will soon run into another Salem resident with mental health issues inside Bayview. Viewers may remember that Ava Vitale (Tamara Braun) was having hallucinations of her murdered son, Charlie Tate (Mike Manning). “Charlie” convinced Ava to commit some terrible crimes. Susan Banks (Stacey Haiduk) died as a result but by then Ava was so far gone, she tried to bomb the church during Susan’s memorial service.

DOOL Spoilers – Ava Vitale May Still Be Having Dangerous Hallucinations!

If Ava is still seeing “Charlie”, Ava might be convinced to make a daring escape, Harris will see that Ava is suffering and may make the decision to follow Ava and act as kind of a Guardian Angel. Eventually Ava will see Harris and the two could form a very strong romantic bond. Perhaps Harris can even help Ava rid herself of “Charlie’s” influence. By the time all is said and done, look for them both to re-enter society successfully.
