Days of Our Lives spoilers tease that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) has done some terrible things over the past few years. When she first came to Salem, she was hell-bent on getting revenge against her half-sister, Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller). Gwen believed that their father, Jack Devereaux (Matthew Ashford), abandoned her in favor of Abigail. But the truth is that Jack had no idea Gwen existed, and he would have cared for her had he known about her. It took Gwen a long time to accept this fact, and Abigail was murdered before the two of them could make peace.

While all of this was going on, Gwen met Xander Cook (Paul Tefler) and the two began a romance.

They almost married, but the ceremony was halted when Gwen’s misdeeds were brought to light. Xander and Gwen eventually reunited, but then Xander broke things off for good, leaving Gwen alone once more.

Just weeks ago, Gwen believed her luck was changing when she met Dimitri Von Leuschner (Peter Porte) who seemingly swept Gwen off her feet.

Although they had just met, Dimitri proposed to Gwen. Gwen eventually accepted, not knowing that Dimitri was using Gwen to acquire a vast fortune.

Dimitri was to inherit a vast fortune, but only if he was happily married by the age of forty. He proposed to Gwen only to acquire his inheritance.

Unfortunately, Dimitri had yet another secret. He was gay and had eyes only for Gwen’s best friend, Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart). Leo and Dimitri began seeing each other behind Gwen’s back.

Although they have managed to keep their relationship a secret so far, it’s only a matter of time before Gwen finds out.

Once she does, it seems likely that Gwen will leave Dimitri for good. And if that happens, Dimitri will lose the fortune that he has been working so hard to obtain.

Even worse, the friendship between Gwen and Leo will be irreparably damaged. Dimitri could blame Leo for losing all that money and the saddest part is that all three of them will be left alone. Gwen’s big to redeem herself will fall flat and she will likely leave Salem forever.
