Days Of Our Lives Spoilers: Gwen Vs. Xander, Huge Confrontation Over Hiring Chloe For The Spectator

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers hint that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will have a very hard time convincing ex-girlfriend and co-partner Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) to hire his “roommate” Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) for a job at the Spectator. Actor Paul Telfer recently spoke with Soap Opera Digest (SOD) about this explosive scene that takes place the week of May 29th.

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – It Makes Sense For Chloe & Xander, But Not For Gwen

DOOL spoilers suggest Gwen and Xander will have quite the confrontation when Kiriakis brings up the idea of hiring Ms. Lane to work for the newspaper.

Telfer notes to SOD that Xandy believes it’s a perfect solution to the predicament Chloe is in. After all, she needs a job, the Spectator needs someone to work, so why not “kill two birds with one stone?”

Unfortunately, Gweny won’t see it that way. Paul reveals that the two will have a blowout about it, and Xander won’t understand why Rizczech “cares”. After all, Kiriakis isn’t “with” Chloe, and he (still believes) that Gwen is dating Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson).

The actor tells SOD that pride will get the better of Rizczech and she’ll concede; giving her “okay” to allow Chloe to work at the newspaper.

Days Spoilers – Meanwhile, Across Town, There’s Brady

DOOL spoilers state that Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) will try to approach Chloe and convince her not to leave Basic Black; however, it’ll be too late.

Now that she has a job at the Spectator, she’ll be ready to move on. Of course, Telfer tells SOD that even though Xand and Chloe aren’t together, Kiriakis will happily poke at Mr. Black.

Paul reveals that Xander will take pleasure in seeing Brady worry about Chloe and her new living arrangements. Black will eventually leave in a huff, and Ms. Lane and Xandy will toast to her new job.

Telfer ends the SOD interview by noting that Chloe and Xander are in an interesting place where they are comfortable with each other, but not crossing the line outside of friendship. Both are very excited about Lane’s new opportunity with the Spectator and what will happen next.
