Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) might team up, and plot to win their true objects of desire back. They’re only friends with benefits, there’s nothing deep between them, so why not help each other win Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) back?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Second Chances?

Gwen and Alex both want second chances with their exes and they both have reasons that they should-Sarah Horton’s (Linsey Godfrey) dumped Xander, and Stephanie’s mom’s not dead. Gwen has been using Alex to get over Xander, and Alex has been using Gwen to get over Stephanie and trying to move on with each other just hasn’t worked.  Sarah left town with Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) and now Alex knows Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) didn’t die and he didn’t really keep Stephanie from saying goodbye to her mom.

Gwen believes she might have a chance to win Xander back with Sarah gone, and Alex believes he might have a second chance with Stephanie. However, neither takes into account that Xander and Stephanie appear to be moving on with other people.

DOOL Spoilers – Xander Cook Getting Close With Chloe Lane

Xander’s building a nice and fun friendship with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and Gwen has noticed the two together, but Xander has insisted the two are only friends. At least it shows his heart is finally healing after Sarah shattered it, going back with her ex and his rival; of course, he doesn’t know she’s pregnant with his baby. Sarah seems to be letting Rex think that Xander’s baby is his, and they have no plans of moving back to Salem from Chicago in the near future. However, things and plans do change, and there is a possibility if Xander and Gwen get back together that Sarah will blast in and break it up, Xander learning the truth!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Alex Kiriakis No Longer Is To Blame

As for Alex, he knows he is no longer to blame for Stephanie not being able to say goodbye to her mother on her deathbed, since Kayla Johnson is alive anyway. That was the thing that seemed to ring the death knell with their short romance; he’d finally gotten her into bed the first time that night and shut off her phone. Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) wound up coming there in person to give Stephanie the sad news, and now it seems she’s dating him.

But Alex could think that now he’ll have a chance at getting her back in spite of starting therapy for his apparent sexual addiction soon with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). He’ll hope to become a better man, but all the while trying to push Chad out of the way as his competition.
