Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) did not have an easy time of it over the last six months as they both got burned by the selfishness that always seems to come from Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), two people who cannot stay away from one another no matter how much they try.

However, Rafe and Jada have been getting along great both professionally and personally while spending a lot of time together on and off the job. Jada wonders if something more might be going on between her and Rafe, so she comes right out and asks him. She also doesn’t know that her life is about to get a lot more complicated.

Jada’s sister Talia is in town and she immediately looks for a job at Sweet Bits. Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) really needs the help after Allie Horton left her high and dry with their business and she and Talia seem to get along so this might work out well.

Of course, Paulina Price Carver (Jackie Harry) stops by to tell Chanel some news. She hired legal eagle Belle Black Brady to represent Chanel in her legal troubles with Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) and makes the announcement before she notices another person is in earshot. This is about to get awkward super fast. How will Chanel handle it?

Maggie Horton Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) and Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) are now co-CEOs of Titan and it’s not going very well at all. First, Alex is insulted by the position. Then, things go terribly wrong on the very first day on the job when they immediately have a business disagreement.

Chad DiMera (Chad Duell) is also in the middle of an argument. Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) has a bone to pick with Chad so it looks as if there may be trouble in paradise already.
