Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Rushing Into Things Too Fast?

Dimitri Von Leuchner (Peter Porte) and Gwen Rizcech (Emily O’Brien) only just met and they end up in bed together before we can blink.

Leo Stark (Greg Rikaart) finds them in a compromising position and can’t believe Gwen already slept with her interview subject. But her interview subject soon shocks her more than Leo’s arrival. He declares his love for Gwen and asks her to marry him.

“He’s giving her the hard sell because he knows he only has about three months before he turns 40,” Peter Porte said in the June 26, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest.“Gwen, rightfully so, is hesitant, as she’s had her heart broken before and had complications with Xander. Dmitry says he will neve hurt her life Xander did. Dimitry feels pretty confident that this is going to be a no-brainer.”

DOOL Spoilers – Dimitri Von Leuchner Is Going To Have A Problem

Too bad he calculates things wrong. Yes, he wants to please his mother, the crazy Megan DiMera (Miranda Wilson) and get married, but no, he certainly didn’t count on Leo to get in the way of things.

“Dimitri’s ultimate goal is not to get married,” Porte said. “It is to please his mother. So coming home with this news is incredibly important to him.”

Leo quickly deduces what is really going on and confronts Dimitri. He knows that he is using Gwen and will end up hurting her in the end.

“Leo poses a slight threat,” Porte told Digest. “The bubble of romance has been burst, but Dimitri still believes that he has the upper hand.”

But does he? And, will Gwen agree to marry him when she finds out about all that cash? That might have been all Dimitri had to say — tell her about the money and watch her melt.
