Days of Our Lives spoilers and updates tease Colin Bedford (Jasper Newman) seems nefariously familiar. With his British accent, manipulative ways and an oval ring that reminds one suspiciously of a square DiMera ring, could he be EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feurreriegel) love child?

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Colin Bedford Seems Older Than Johnny DiMera

Although it hasn’t been stated how much younger Colin is than Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) who’s at least in her mid-thirties, he seems older than Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman).

Johnny is twenty-one and prior to his birth and EJ’s involvement with his mother, Sami Brady (Alison Sweeney) EJ was put in a series of English boarding schools.

EJ also attended college and universities in England prior to becoming a race-car driver and had many romances-might one have been with Martha Bedford (uncast)?

There are so many ways Colin seems like a duplicitous DiMera-using Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian) for his own purposes.

She’s desperately in love with him but he doesn’t seem to care much about her – she’ll take the fall for the crimes he’s behind!

DOOL Spoilers – Oval Ring, Looks Like The Square DiMera Ring-Why Oval?

Martha’s not around anymore to ask, but she likely might have been aware of the DiMera family, and also aware of the square gold and onyx ring.

EJ would certainly have worn his with pride in college, or even if she met him when he was racing. He hooked up with Sami after his racing career, so it makes sense that Colin would be older than Johnny.

Although Colin’s ring may not be a real DiMera ring, he’s not yet been proven a real DiMera-Martha could have had this ring made for him to honor his true parentage.

So it would seem there was more to it than Nathan Bedford (uncast) cheating on Martha, Martha may have also been cheating on him!

Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Colin Bedford Likely Doesn’t Know His Legacy

Chances are, Colin doesn’t know his DiMera legacy, even though he seems to act like EJ and have a lot of EJ in him-certainly much more than Johnny.

Colin complains about his mood swings, depression and other problems caused by Chanel Dupree’s (Raven Bowens) murder of his mother, but they may have already been there.

He may have met Talia when he was hospitalized for care-he did admit to having nightmares and screaming, but didn’t rule out suicide attempts.

Poor Talia’s straight, but Colin is using her desperate love for him to get her to seduce Chanel and break her heart. Doesn’t that sound like something EJ DiMera might have done at his age, even though EJ’s done worse?
