Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – This Is How They Started

When Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) first turned up in Salem in 2018, she was thrilled to announce she was getting married and her fiance turned out to be none other than Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder). Sarah had to forgive Rex for cheating, but could not get past the fact that one of his dalliances was with Mimi Lockhart (Farrah Fath), which produced a child.

Rex and Sarah seemed over for good by then and she moved on with both Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and Xander Cook (Paul Telfer). Now that her marriage to Xander is in the trash, Rex and Sarah spend some time bonding at the Kiriakis mansion. Sarah is still reeling from everything that happened with Xander and Rex’s whole family is a total mess.

Rex arrives at the Kiriakis mansion to deliver a letter to Victor Kiriakis from Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) assuring him that he is alive, well, and living in Europe. Between this shock about his brother and the loss of his mother, Rex is just as much of a mess as Sarah and ends up telling Sarah that he is still in love with her.

As Sarah rages about Xander, Rex encourages her to take out her pent-up anger on a pillow, but Sarah suggests they have sex instead and Rex is all for it.

“In that moment, Rex loses sight of doing the right thing,” Kyle Lowder said in the February 13, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “Rex has no delusions that she wants to get back together. But, obviously, Rex still loves Sarah and wants another shot with her. He’s made that quite clear.”

Is that where DAYS is going with Rex and Sarah now or is there still more to play between Xander and Sarah, even if he drowned his own sorrows with Gwen Rizcech (Emily O’Brien)?
