At least Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) is finding himself something more constructive to do than getting drunk and randomly sleeping with unlikely women now that Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) has left him once again.

This time, she really is with Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) and Xander has no idea that she is carrying his child. He just knows he is enjoying spending time with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and she enjoys his company, too.

When Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) spots Chloe and Xander hanging out, laughing, and playing darts, he seethes with jealousy and demands to speak to Chloe alone. She is not happy with his attitude but agrees that they have to talk.

Young Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater) has made no secret of the fatc that she absolutely hates Chloe because she is her mother’s daughter, indeed.

The situation is getting out of hand for Chloe and she is not sure she wants to be in a relationship in which she is constantly battling a clever little girl.

“Chloe gives [Brady] some hard truth bombs in the sense that she really doesn’t believe theyre going to have any kind of relationship until Rachel is old enough to understand how adults work,” Eric Martsolf said in the April 17, 2023, issue of Soap Opera Digest. “She believes that Brady should also put his daughter first. That’s Brady’s major conflict right now. So, he’s stressing…He lives his daughter and he loves Chloe, so what do you do?”

According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, Brady just might have to face the fact that he and Chloe are not meant to be. They have had decades of obstacles thrown in their way and there just might be a good reason for that.

Perhaps it is time they both move on with other people and Xander might be willing to be that other person right now.
