Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Lani Grant Is Back…And Suspicious

Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) may have six months left in her prison sentence but that doesn’t mean Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) is not able to get his wife a furlough so she can attend Abe Carver’s (James Reynolds) funeral. In fact, Lani arrives in Salem to surprise her family and puts a smile on Paulina Price Carver’s (Jackee Harry) face. She has been beside herself ever since Abe was declared dead and her first-born daughter is a sight for sore eyes.

Before Lani arrives, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) does everything she can to cheer her mother up and snap her out of her funk but nothing she does helps. She is relieved to see her sister arrive because Paulina is not even sure she wants to go to Abe’s funeral.

However, Lani is not even sure there should be a funeral. Everything Eli has told her about Abe’s case doesn’t seem to be adding up and she doesn’t understand why someone would say Abe fell in the water when there is no real evidence that he did. His blood may have been there, but she thinks it got there another way. Will Lani get to the bottom of things before Nurse Whitley (Kim Coles) does any more damage?

DOOL Spoilers  – More Carver Reunions

Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) is also back in town for his dad’s funeral and does some catching up with some family friends — namely Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols), Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), John Black (Drake Hogestyn), and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall). They get to talking about Abe and even John and Steve think something fishy is going on.

As for Abe, he still thinks his life is doing fine and he is with his wife and son, although they are his fake wife and son. And, of course, he has the one thing he thinks he needs — his VCR tapes of old soap operas. Isn’t that the thing that keeps so many of us satisfied?
