Alex Kiriakis (Robert Scott Wilson) was sure that he and Stephanie Johnson (Abigail Klein) were finally a couple. She has been acting like they are a couple but when he mentioned to Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) that he and Stephanie are together, Stephanie lost it on him.

On Wednesday, she is determined to set the record straight. They are not exclusive and she doesn’t belong to him or anyone, for that matter. Chad kind of likes what he hears because he also has feelings for Stephanie and now he knows that Alex might not be the obstacle he thought he was after all.

Now that Bonnie Lockart Kiriakis (Judi Evans) and Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) know that Xander Cook (Paul Telfer) was the kidnapping clown after, they confront him in an epic showdown that shows just how disgusted with him they truly are.

To make things even more complicated, Sarah Horton Cook (Linsey Godfrey) does her best to convince Gwen Rizcech (Emily O’Brien) to fess up about being Xander’s accomplice. She makes things sound pretty enticing but Gwen still has all those feelings for Xander and she might not be willing to do that. However, if it means saving her own hyde, will that make a difference?

Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) finally receives divorce papers from Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), although he has known his ill-conceived marriage has been over for quite a while. Still, seeing the papers in his hand makes Rafe realize how real this is and that another one of his unions has failed.

At least Jada Hunter (Elia Cantu) is there to cheer Rafe up. Jada and Rafe have been becoming closer as of late, especially after she aborted Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) baby. Might a romance soon be in store for them?
