Days Of Our Lives Spoilers – Juneteenth Is A Day To Remember

It’s been one year since Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Paulina Price Carver (Jackee Harry) got married in the park on Juneteenth, the new national holiday celebrating African-American independence. Too bad Paulina is starting the day in tears and without her husband. He went missing from the hospital after brain surgery and they have no idea where he is.

Thankfully, she gets some good company when Eli Grant (Lamon Archey), Olivia Price (Marla Gibbs), and Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) return to town to celebrate with her. Too bad none of them are in a celebratory mood because finding Abe is their number one concern. Even so, Eli is happy to be reunited with his grandparents, Doug and Julie Williams (Bill and Susan Seaforth Hayes). And, Theo is thrilled to see his uncle Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn).

At least Abe starts to have some flashes of memory and may be starting to realize this woman who has been calling herself Paulina is not his wife after all. They do look somewhat alike, but there are some stark differences. Abe finally has an angry confrontation with Nurse Whitley (Kim Coles) and it could turn into a dangerous situation.

It wasn’t too long ago when Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) thought that she could fall in love with Talia Hunter (Elia Cantu), but then she learned the woman was only playing games with her at the bidding of her sociopathic boyfriend Colin Bedford (Jasper Newman). Talia was even the one who drugged those biscuits that got half the town high as a kite.

Chanel doesn’t even want to know from Talia now no matter how contrite she is being. All she wants is to see Talia behind bars despite knowing Colin emotionally abused the young doctor and had her under his control.
