Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Sadness…And A Celebration

Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) is back in Salem for a short time before her permanent release from prison in six months. She is happy to be back with her family and husband but sad to be there for such a solemn occasion. Of course, she also is not sure a funeral should even be happening.

While Lani has her own suspicions about the Abe Carver (James Reynolds) case and wonders if her father is really alive, she is thrilled to at least be out of jail at the right time — her wedding anniversary. Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani take a little time for themselves and have a little romance. We don’t understand why Lani is actually in jail, but at least she gets to have this time before she is out of jail for good.

Nurse Whitley Gets Daring

While Eli and Lani enjoy their brief time together, Nurse Whitley (Kim Coles) is feeling some relief that people will hopefully stop looking for Abe. We still don’t know why she wants to keep Abe with her so badly, but at least she takes some time to pay condolences to Paulina Price Carver (Jackee Harry).

As for Abe, he watches another tape in Whitley’s collection and thinks he sees someone who looks quite familiar. Is this someone from his new little life or the old life that he is starting to remember?

Tension For Talia And Chanel

Sure, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) is mourning Abe, trying to keep her mother out of a deep depression, and is thrilled that her sister is back, but that does not mean she doesn’t have time or her beef with Talia Hunter (Aketra Sevillian). This is a soap opera and what is a life if not overwhelmed with pure drama?
