Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, February 9, 2023, reveal Sarah drowning her sorrows with an unlikely — but also likely — person.

It’s been a rough few weeks for Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) as she learned the extent of Xander Cook’s (Paul Telfer) deception. She left Xander right away but every time she was ready to forgive him, she kept finding him in compromising positions with Gwen Rizcech and has finally just given up.

Rex Brady has also had a pretty bad few weeks. His mother allegedly died and he learned his brother who he thought was dead is alive. When Rex shows up at the Kiriakis mansion to deliver Victor Kiriakis a letter from Philip Kiriakis, he runs into Sarah and the two former fiances get to talking. Rex knows he still has feelings for Sarah and when she impulsively asks him to sleep with her, he has no problem obliging.

Meanwhile, Xander is not wallowing in self-pity. Instead, he conspires with Gwen to get revenge on Jack Deveraux.

Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Alex Kiriakis also needed to drown their own sorrows regarding their own sorrows about their respective love lives. Alex finally faces the fact that he has lost Stephanie Johnson for good and Allie doesn’t know if she and Chanel Dupree are going to work out.

To that end, Allie invites Alex to sleep with her after they get drunk and things do not look good for them after Chanel and Johnny DiMera catch them in a very awkward position. Does this spell the complete end of Allie and Chanel?

Sadly, she finds out that is exactly what happens when Tripp Johnson has to admit to her it was Joey Johnson who tricked her into coming over.
