Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers imply that could be trouble in paradise for Salem’s District Attorney, Melinda Trask (Laura Kai Chen). She’s generally a hard-knock D.A. who has little sympathy for anyone in town and is always looking to punish criminals to the highest degree. With that said, she’s shown a softer side of herself to Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash). Could this land her in some hot water?

DOOL spoilers for the week of April 17th indicate that Stefan and Melinda will get mighty close. In fact, it looks like he’ll want to bed the D.A., thinking she’s Gabi Hernandez (Camil Banus). It’s clear that Trask has a ginormous crush on Mr. DiMera, which can explain why she’s helped him along with fooling his brother EJ DiMera (Daniel Feuerriegel), recently.

At the end of the day, Trask can do whatever she wants in her private life, as long as she’s not breaking the law. Jumping into bed with Stefan certainly isn’t a crime, but could he ask Melinda to do something illegal? It may seem innocent when he requests it, and when she does it; however, it could also create a snowball effect where Trask loses her job. This is the land of Salem!

DOOL Spoilers – Goodbye Melinda Trask, Hello Sloan Petersen!

There aren’t many lawyers in town right now, except for Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth), so if Trasks is fired from her job, then there’s a good chance Sloan Petersen (Jessica Serfaty) will snag the role. This would create a ton of drama, especially with the bad blood she and Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) have.

Paulina will not only be upset and feel as if she could be a target for the D.A.’s office now, but it could also create conflict in her relationship with Abe Carver (James Reynolds). After all, he’s Salem’s mayor and could stop the hiring of Sloan; however, there will likely be extenuating circumstances of why he can’t.
