Jen Lilley is back in Salem as Theresa Donovan. Fans will see the actress on Monday, August 30 and it’s been a while since they last saw her in 2018.

The character returns to say goodbye to Victor Kiriakis (the late John Aniston).

Victor’s farewell is being given ample air time as it should for an actor of Aniston’s stature, having been on the show for nearly 40 years.

As such Zach Tinker is back in town as Sonny Kiriakis to attend the memorial. Fans last saw the handsome and talented actor in March.

On Friday, September 1 television and film legend Dick Van Dyke debuts as a mysterious newcomer to Salem.

If you’ve ever watched tv or film you know who this celebrity icon is, with credits that include Mary Poppins, Diagnosis: Murder, The Dick Van Dyke Show which also starred Mary Tyler Moore, etc.

As soon as we get more details about this mystery character we will bring them to you here so come back often for updates.

For now we can tell you that Van Dyke interacts with Deidre Hall’s Marlena Evans Black and Mary Beth Evans’ Kayla Johnson.

Both characters are doctors, so that could be a hint as to the nature of the mystery man’s appearance.
