Days of our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the week of December 18, 2023 show that the revolving door is spinning in Salem this week. The holidays are fast approaching and Christmas would not be Christmas for DOOL fans without a scene at the Horton Christmas tree.
On Friday, December 22 the annual Horton family Christmas tree trimming party kicks off. As DOOL fans know, each year the family places ornaments on the tree, with names of loved ones past and present.
Fans noticed that Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) was not around at Thanksgiving but rest assured he is back in fine form as he joins the family to decorate the tree.
The tree trimming party will also have plenty of young ones to help out, with Chad DiMera’s (Billy Flynn) son Thomas DiMera on hand.
This time Henry Witcher will be in the role that was previously portrayed by Daytime Emmy nominee Cary Christopher. Word is that the recast is temporary and Christopher will be back soon.
Days of our Lives spoilers: The week of December 18, 2023 Brings a Horton Christmas Fest
Chad’s daughter Charlotte DiMera (Autumn Gendron) will also be on hand to celebrate the festivities as the Horton Christmas fest returns for another year of merry making.
On Wednesday, December 20 ISA agent Andrew Donovan (Colton Little) returns to Salem.
Look for the straight laced Andrew to read his sister Theresa Donovan (Emily O’Brien) the riot act. Theresa has been acting exactly her normal self, which is to say she is up to her eyeballs in trouble.
Tell us Days fans, how are you liking the role of Theresa Donovan now being in the capable hands of O’Brien, who also does double duty as Gwen Rizczech?
We think she’s doing a bang-up job of portraying two characters and it must be fun for her to sink her teeth into two meaty roles as wayward women who are always plotting and schemeing!
