Dancing With the Stars (DWTS) fans saw Sasha Faber propose to Emma Slater after they danced together in October 2016. Actually, it came about a year after rumors that she was falling for someone else. Married in 2018, it’s all over now as she filed for divorce.

Back in 2015, rumors arose that there were sparks between Emma and Alek Skarlatos. He started out with pro dancer Lindsay Arnold but in week five he danced with Emma. ABC fans agreed that they could feel the chemistry through their screens. Of course, that immediately sparked rumors that things would go further. However, it never came to anything and Alek refused to talk about it. However, she did find love on the set with Sasha Farber.

The next year, Dancing With the Stars pro, Sasha took the plunge and proposed on the set. Two years later they tied the knot, but now it’s all over. In fact, Emma and Sasha are currently on the DWTS tour. Apparently, you wouldn’t know it, as things seem amicable between them. The news about the divorce came from ET Online. In their article about it, the outlet revealed that court documents showed that “On Tuesday, [Emma] filed for divorce from her husband of four years.” Of course, die-hard fans of the show knew about their separation which became public news in August last year. Still, there’s always hope for a reconciliation. Actually, the outlet mentioned that according to the documents, Sasha and Emma separated about four months before that.

The Dancing With the Stars couple reportedly has “irreconcilable differences.” However, it seems that this won’t be a headline-breaking toxic split. In the documents, it seems that they part ways without public drama and “intend on amicably resolving all property issues in a subsequent Stipulated Judgment of Dissolution of Marriage.” As far as maintenance payments, they both agreed to remain financially independent.

The Dancing With the Stars pros clearly both agree that it’s best to move on and neither of them seem to have any deep desire to fight for their marriage. The report stated that it’s an “uncontested divorce.”
