Counting On Alum Jill Dillard & Derick Enjoy Anniversary Treats

Jill Dillard and her husband, Derick, have been in the public eye for many years, ever since their appearance on reality TV shows, Counting On and 19 Kids and Counting. Their marriage seems to be very successful and Derick was the first to spill the tea about Jim Bob Duggar and their decision to leave the show. More recently, they appeared on Shiny Happy People: Duggar Family Secrets, and Jill and her husband stand tall in the eyes of TLC fans. This week, they celebrated their anniversary, which Jill almost forgot.

Jill, like her sister Jinger Vuolo, is releasing a book. While Jinger’s seemed more about promoting her husband Jeremy’s church, Jill actually spoke out on the Amazon docuseries about the Institute of Basic Life Principles. Jinger didn’t, but each woman has their own story to tell. Actually, the two women share a lot of things in common. But, they are each very different personalities with their own set of followers.

Counting On fans are so excited because after Jill revealed her new book, Counting The Cost, she followed up with a new launch date. Instead of January next year, the book comes in September this year. On social media, she hinted that the publishers moved it up because of overwhelming interest from TLC fans. Well, both of them are well-loved these days, so people were happy to see them sharing time together on their anniversary this year.

With the book promotions, the three kids, a husband to look out for, and what seems to be a fun social life, it’s no wonder that Jill almost forgot her anniversary. Fortunately, her husband didn’t. They can laugh about it because they seem to be so close to each other. When a relationship is strong, the occasional lapse of memory is fully forgivable it seems. Jill said in her caption, “Thanks for making my day this morning by reminding me it was our anniversary (I almost forgot! ??).”

The Counting On alum was treated by her husband to “coffee in bed! ?☕️ “ Additionally she wrote, “Happy 9th wedding anniversary to the man of my dreams @derickdillard ? Thanks for being my bestie forever! I love you with all my heart and I’m so grateful for you! ?‍❤️‍?‍?.” More followed, and the TLC alum told Derick, “You are legit the best man on the planet!! LYSM!! ?❤️.”

Counting On fans saw that Jill shared a photo of the couple out in their car. They were both enjoying fried pies. TLC followers started talking about them, and it seems that they are on the favorite food list of a lot of people. One fan said, “Omg I had the best fried pies in Millersburg, Ohio Amish country, they are great with baking and pastries ?.” More fried pie discussion followed, but a lot of people also told Derick and Jill how happy they are that they seem to be a strong and loving couple.
