According to an Instagram post, the TLC reality stars are quitting after Colt was injured on a trampoline while filming. On February 14, Vanessa Guerra hosted a Q&A on her Instagram Stories that was captured by a Redditor. Among the questions posed, one fan wanted to know if the 90 Day: The Single Life star would be filming again. Vanessa was quick to respond, saying, “I refuse to film anymore.” Meanwhile, another asked if Colt will still be starring in the TLC reality franchise, to which his beautiful wife responded, saying, “unlikely.”

It was on January 2 that Vanessa shared photos of her husband, Colt, in a hospital bed with a brace on his right leg. In that post, she told the story behind her husband’s injuries as follows:

On December 2, Colt suffered an accident which caused a dislocated and broken leg. Tibia/fibula along with torn meniscus. He was hospitalized for 2 weeks.

Vanessa added that in the two weeks, Colt had to undergo two surgeries on his leg. Moreover, she said due to the pain meds and anesthesia, “his bladder stopped working and has been on a catheter since.”

The TLC reality star continued, writing that Colt cannot put weight on his leg and can’t bend it. This means he is now “wheelchair-bound.” Moreover, Vanessa added that Colt had to undergo a third surgery to remove the hardware that was keeping his leg straight.

‘Rough journey’ for the 90 Day Fiancé star

In her explanation, Vanessa said, “It’s been a rough journey.” In fact, she said she had to move everything from their second-story apartment to a new first-floor place as Colt cannot climb stairs.

The 90 Day Fiancé star said that Colt’s situation has been challenging. “It’s been a rough journey,” she wrote in the post’s caption. She had to move everything from their second-story apartment to a new place within a few days because Colt could not climb stairs.

According to Vanessa, his recovery time “is expected to be 6-8 months, plus he will have to “learn to walk again, through physical therapy.”

Moreover, Vanessa asked her fans to be kind to Colt at this difficult time, writing:

Regardless of how you may feel about him, this has been extremely hard physically, mentally and emotionally. He could really use words of encouragement & all the support he can get. Thanks everyone.
