She is concerned that the prison conditions will impact their health. This could be dangerous to their lives. In a new interview with Fox News Digital, Savannah shared an update on her parents’s health.

“The prison conditions are not something that is spoken about at all. And I’ve definitely ruffled some feathers by speaking about it,” Savannah Chrisley said while promoting the new show, Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. “They are in conditions where it gets to be 115 degrees inside because there is no air conditioning. There’s black model, asbestos, and lead-based paint. They’re consuming food that says ‘not for human consumption.’ There’s no clean drinking water.”

The Chrisley Knows Best spoilers reveal that Savannah is concerned about her mom Julie, who is a cancer survivor.

She advocated for better prison conditions since they both received a “life sentence.” Savannah argued that both prisons need to improve their conditions for the sake of the inmates. She feels that this could impact their health down the line.

Todd is serving his prison sentence at Federal Prison Camp in Pensacola, Florida, while Juile remains at Federal Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky.

The FPC didn’t comment on the prison conditions. However, FMC released a statement to Fox Digital regarding the information about the “conditions of confinement” for adult inmates.

“The FBOP takes seriously our ability to protect and secure individuals in our custody while ensuring the safety of our employees and the surrounding community. We make every effort to create a controlled environment within our facilities that is both secure and humane, prioritizing the physical and emotional well-being of those in our care and custody,” the statement reads.

Julie was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2012. She underwent a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery. On March 22, 2022, Julie celebrated 10 years of being cancer-free.

Savannah fears that it could come back. She claims that the prison conditions aren’t good for her mom. This is one of the reasons why she won’t stop advocating for her parents. In that same interview, Savannah revealed that her parents received backlash after she opened up about the prison conditions.
