Body Language Expert Says Meghan Markle’s Christmas Card Post Signifies A Political Future

Since stepping down as a member of the royal family, the Duchess of Sussex, 42, has shown interest in political matters, from cold calling senators to lobby for paid leave to penning an open letter to President Joe Biden.

This year, she’s all but disappeared from the political scene, but body language expert Judi James predicts 2024 will be a year Meghan makes a substantial shift towards it.

The Sussexes have one-upped their previous year’s card, which featured the message: “From our family to yours, and on behalf of our teams at The Archewell Foundation, Archewell Audio and Archewell Productions, we wish you health, peace and a very happy new year.” The card carried Harry and Meghan’s signatures, as well as their name and royal titles.

This year, the virtual card showed Harry and Meghan clapping as the U.S. team walked onto the stage to Bruce Springsteen’s hit song “Born in the USA.”

It’s also linked to the couple’s annual Archewell Foundation impact report, which had a video highlighting some of the things they’re most proud of accomplishing this year.

Speaking exclusively to Fabulous Digital, body language expert Judi James opined: “The song ‘Born in the USA’ has links to politics and this professional pose with the music accompaniment reeks of success, celebration and glory.”

James continued: “It’s not a family Christmas message, it’s not even a romantic, coupled-up one as there is no romantic touch ritual here or their usual signals of connection and love.”
“This is Harry and Meghan at their glittering best as a power couple.”

Judi James Says Harry And Meghan’s Upward Facing Pose Would Appeal On A Political Arena

James analyzed the picture of the Duchess at the Invictus Games closing ceremony, where she wore a stunning strapless green dress with her brunette hair slicked back into a low bun.

“They look glamorous and their linked behaviour is about shared goals and celebrating achievement,” Judi noted, adding, “They have a crowd behind them and they look upward to suggest the kind of motivational message that would appeal on a political arena. If Meghan were thinking of a political career this could be the perfect pose to launch it.”
