Ben Affleck Disturbed By Jennifer Lopez’s Obsession With Yellowstone

The mystery of Ben Affleck and his miserable face at the Grammys may have been solved. According to the actor, his wife Jennifer Lopez is so obsessed with the modern Western hit Yellowstone that he finds this disturbing. In fact, he feels she is obsessed with the relationship between Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly in the series, as he has a past with the Rip Wheeler actor.

Actor Ben Affleck recently appeared on The Bill Simmons Podcast to promote his new film, Air. During the interview, the actor opened up about his wife, Jennifer Lopez and her obsession with Yellowstone.

Affleck explained that the show’s relationships, particularly Cole Hauser’s, motivated JLo’s obsession with the modern Western series. On her part, Jennifer insisted that her husband also enjoys the show, after sharing some clips with him from the series. However, Ben explained:

I’m kind of disturbed that my wife really likes Yellowstone. Part of me thinks that she’s really drawn to the romance between Cole Hauser and Kelly Reilly. Jen showed me a clip of her off of Instagram, the monologue she has with the kid in the car about the ways to become rich. And then she was like, ‘I love this story of these two.’ I was like, ‘Wait a minute? With Hauser? With Cole Hauser? What do you love about it?’

It turns out Affleck and Hauser are no strangers to each other after they first starred together in School Ties. Moreover, they both also starred in Good Will Hunting and Dazed and Confused.

Taylor Sheridan’s hit series

Over the seasons, Taylor Sheridan’s Yellowstone has become one of the most popular on Paramount Network. Part of the appeal is the family drama surrounding the Dutton family. Meanwhile, via word of mouth, and making arrangements for UK fans to watch, the show’s ratings have soared. This led to Yellowstone heading to the top streaming charts.

Moreover, the modern Western series has generated a number of excellent prequel series. These include 1883, in which the Duttons came to own their iconic Yellowstone Ranch. Meanwhile, another prequel, 1923, has recently launched with Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren in the lead and tells the story of the Dutton family during the Great Depression and Prohibition. Meanwhile, 1923 has already been renewed for a second season.

However, due to the popularity of the prequels, Sheridan isn’t finished yet and is working on another show about the 6666 ranches. The Comanche Nation originally founded those ranches while they still ruled West Texas. So far, there are few details available about the show or its cast.

Meanwhile, Yellowstone’s millions of fans are currently waiting for part 2 of season 5 to arrive, allegedly during the summer of 2023. Moreover, it isn’t such a stretch to find out Jennifer Lopez is another obsessed fan of the show.
