The Bold and The Beautiful spoilers reveal that Taylor confessed to Bill that she shot him and even went to a mental institution afterward. However, there was no further investigation after that. Bill let it drop and swore he remembered nothing. Bill vowed his silence to Taylor when she confessed to him, and no one was ever supposed to know the truth.

Bill has kept this secret for all these years, and has never been brought up again. At least until now when Bill decided to use it for Sheila’s benefit. However, Bill may have things all wrong here. What if Taylor lied? Bill was trying to destroy Steffy’s life already. Perhaps Liam was the shooter, and Taylor covered it up to keep Bill from ruining Steffy’s marriage.

B&B Spoilers – Taylor Hayes Was Not On Canvas When Bill Spencer Was Shot

Liam was convinced that he shot his father that night and later realized it wasn’t him. However, Taylor claimed responsibility for the shooting, and Bill wasn’t shot twice. Liam admitted that he wasn’t thinking clearly at all. Taylor was not even on canvas then, so why would she have been in town? Did Taylor make a last-minute trip to shoot Bill?

Perhaps Taylor found out that Liam believed he shot Bill and realized he was the shooter. If Taylor took responsibility, Liam’s relationship with Bill would be salvaged. Liam wouldn’t go to prison and have his marriage to Steffy broken up. Bill survived, and as long as Taylor went to the institution to get help, all would be well.

Either Liam’s concussion was brought up to explain Bill’s strange behavior, or Liam could be the actual shooter. Liam was distraught at the time. Liam believed his father had taken advantage of his wife, even though they were having a rough time. Liam would have been the most likely person to come after Bill that night.

Did Liam shoot Bill that night? There was never enough evidence to charge anyone, including Taylor. If the story was rewritten once, it could be again. Taylor would do anything for her daughter, including taking the blame for something she didn’t do. Is Taylor simply trying to keep Liam out of trouble? Did Liam shoot Bill after all?
