B&B Spoilers: Will Hope Deliver On Her Promise? – Thomas On Thin Ice

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers document that Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) responded strongly to Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton). Her husband was right to be stunned that Hope changed course and agreed to rehire Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson). But she added a condition that Atkinson’s character has to live up to.

While Hope and Liam disagreed about Thomas having seen the error of his ways and is committed to being good again, Noelle’s character tried to reassure her husband of one important point. She said that Thomas will be gone if he steps out of line in any way.

But how could Hope fire Thomas if he is key to Hope for the Future’s success and apparently has no equal in all the soapy world?

Liam does not yet believe his marriage will be impacted by Thomas or maybe he does not want to upset Hope. But there is no doubt that Thomas’ history of destabilizing everyone in his proximity will put pressure on Hope and Liam.

Even if Thomas has a smooth run, Liam will remain on guard. Plus, Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) return to the cabin likely means increased interaction with Thomas, Hope, and Liam will happen.

Clifton’s character wanted to believe that Hope realized Thomas should not escape lasting consequences. Yet he has because his mother and sister vouched for him. One would expect a child, like Douglas, to be protected in that manner.

Thomas has taken needed steps beyond what he has done in the past. Working with his mother to secure a therapist is part of a plan to publicly prove progress.

But Liam sees the game. No matter his appearance or whatever Thomas may say, no one can know what he will do on any given day.

The type of actions Thomas has taken, including what he did to Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang), indicate he has serious mental health issues that were not resolved with introductory psychological sessions. And how would working closely with the woman he has been fixated on since 2019 be part of any therapy program?

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Hope Spencer Confronting Connected Problems

Hope has put her entire professional reputation into building HFTF. Thomas is an inarguable part of that success.

However, she can demand that he work off-site and only have contact with her in the office at certain times and when others are present. But even if that happens, she agreed to be Douglas’ adoptive mother. That means contact with Thomas is needed.

It appears Hope is hoping Thomas is on a path to good health. She wants to believe Douglas’ return will reestablish her family’s routine at that cabin.

Liam and Hope love each other. But Thomas’ insidious backstory indicates that trouble will reappear at some unknown point in the plot on B&B.
