Eric collapsed at home and Donna Logan (Jennifer Garies) thought he had died-he needed oxygen afterwards, and admitted he didn’t have much time left-they had to have the party!

He refused to allow her to call 911 or even call for a home visit by his doctor, and wanted no one to know about what’s happening to him.

By now most of the family does, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) having just told Zende Dominguez Forrester (Delon deMetz) who was “late to the game”.

So first Thorne arrives and the secret is kept-despite everyone’s difficulty doing so, and then Bridget. But Eric is getting worse, and Bridget springs into action once she finds out her father’s devastating diagnosis!

To Eric, even the least bit of compassion for him and support seems to translate to pity, and that is why he insists on secrecy and won’t go to the hospital.

He doesn’t want to give a clue that anything is wrong or that he’s not the strong and healthy man he was in his prime. But Eric is only hurting himself by that behavior-and hurting Donna, the woman he claims to love more than anything.

If Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) were around to see what’s been going on with Eric, she’d say he’s in strong denial even though he says he doesn’t have much time left.

But when Bridget finds out about Eric’s devastating diagnosis and symptoms, she’ll spring into action-whether he likes it or not!

Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and Bridget’s mom, Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) manage to keep Bridget from disrespecting Eric’s request for secrecy.

That doesn’t mean she is going to just sit around and watch her father die-but towards the end of the gala her keen medical eye spots trouble.

Just as RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) spotted his grandfather about to fall and caught him, Bridget springs into action and rushes to Eric’s side.

She and John “Finn” Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) are the doctors “on call” this time and they will pour their expertise into Eric’s malady.
