B&B Spoilers: Thomas Needs To Navigate Summer Waters – Hope’s Shift Changes Perspective

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) feels a heavy weight since returning from the smash success fashion trip. He and Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) should be riding a high. Instead, they are both overwhelmed.

Thomas did nothing wrong in this storyline. That clever switch is a credit to TPTB, with the offering of Hope being the pursuer and Thomas being the object of her affection.

Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) continues to spin. Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and Wyatt Spencer (Darin Brooks) are trying to talk sense to Liam, encouraging him to believe that his marriage is not over.

Anyone married man would be doubly crushed after seeing his wife kissing someone who has long been a nemesis and then having to force her to admit to doing so.

Liam was angrier with her than she has ever experienced. She felt a weird vibe when walking into the cabin. Soon thereafter, Liam walked out after issuing his verbal divorce decree.

Hope was left in tatters, knowing she could not offer any explanation for her behavior. The truth is, she does not know why the draw to Thomas happened or could not be controlled.

However, there is time for this again-embattled couple to make up and at least try to save their marriage.

B&B Spoilers – Is It A New Beginning?

It feels as though the incident in Rome, Italy, is catastrophic. Liam’s witness to the two kisses seared that betrayal image into his brain.

So, he will need time to determine if he can bring himself to forgive Hope. She will likely keep reminding him of the many times his missteps and outright betrayals were forgiven.

But TPTB have invested a lot of storyline time into repositioning Thomas as a different type of character. Hope also has the opportunity to pursue an entirely different type of life as well.

Whatever happens between Liam and Hope, their repair efforts can not logically be a quick fix. At least summer episodes should be needed for this break to be addressed and potentially heal.

If reconciliation becomes unworkable, then Thomas will have a decision to make. He is no longer obsessed with Hope, but genuinely still cares about her.

Thomas will want to make sure Hope is okay first. Then, he will need to learn what is going on with her and Liam. But at that point in the plot, Thomas will be able to make the call about whether he thinks a relationship with Hope can be pursued or if he is a temporary option during a cooling-off period from Liam on B&B.
