Noelle’s character acknowledged, after repeated questioning, that she found Thomas physically attractive. Hope said that in the past but would quickly add that he was nice to look at, but she was in love with Liam.

The shift in Hope’s feelings was sparked by Thomas finally realizing his goal of trying to be a better human being.

That happened because he recognized the need for mental health treatment, is receiving it, and is implementing the tools his therapist has recommended.

There has been no mention of prescription medication, which would seem to be part of a comprehensive stabilization regimen based on Thomas’ particular history.

Thomas and Hope talked with their mothers about each other. That reads like two teenagers who are involved in a middle school dispute.

Atkinson’s character did not demonstrate previous maturity. Now, when this thirty-plus-year-old man finally decides to take life seriously, he receives mixed messages from the woman he was pining for from 2019 through approximately the end of 2022.

Talking with Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) pushed the plot, gave him a sounding board, who is his greatest advocate, and potentially created new problems.

Steffy reads Liam arguably better than Hope. That goes to the type of connection he had with Wood’s character versus the less mature relationship some could soundly claim he shares with Hope.

Liam knows that Steffy tells him the unvarnished truth. So, hearing her say that Hope has feelings for Thomas is a shocker. It also indicates that this storyline has reached a turning point on B&B.
