But does maternal instinct override paternal rights in every legal instance? Surely any reasonable legal argument would assert that Finn has just as much right to have his son living with him.

Wood’s character is reacting based on the crimes Sheila committed. The incredible volume of them affords Steffy justification in wanting to protect Hayes Forrester Finnegan (Alexander and Chase Banks), who is Sheila’s biological grandson, and Kelly Spencer (Sophia Paras Mckinlay) from her.

B&B Spoilers – Thomas Forrester Can Not Object

Thomas wanted Hope since he returned from New York with his son, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri), in 2019.

But she was involved with Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton), meaning married twice to him since 2018, among three total marriages.

Hope bonded with Douglas, which was what Thomas intended. But his attempts to exploit that connection were repeatedly rejected even though Hope did marry Thomas along the way.

Viewers recall Hope did not marry Thomas because of love and they were not involved romantically during that brief union.

So, considering recent history, Thomas was floored to confirm that Hope wanted him. Her pursuit of him and their realized relationship happened because she said Liam was still in love with Steffy.

Hope wants Thomas because he only has eyes for her.

Steffy seems destined to need time away from LA, especially because Wood is expecting her fourth child shortly. Taylor will reinforce that Steffy can not give up on Finn because of Sheila.

Thomas’ situation involves a different calculation. He finally achieved mental stability through serious introspection and a focus on his artistic talent.

But Thomas’ muse is Hope. Taylor needs to help Thomas navigate what will continue to be turbulent soapy waters on B&B.
