When Brooke and Taylor first made their pact, that they were going to choose themselves instead of Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) and fighting over him so many years, that wasn’t all. They also promised not to keep secrets from each other, especially those related to their families, since they’re so closely connected. So when Thomas tells his mom that he overheard Brooke tearing him down to Hope and calling him various names, admittedly once true, Taylor is livid.

The Bold and the Beautiful spoilers show Taylor needs to remind, strongly remind Brooke of their pact and that she doesn’t appreciate Brooke talking like that about her son behind his back. Thomas has done the hard work he has needed to do for years to defeat his obsession issues, and only seeks to be a platonic friend and co-parent with Hope.

Taylor isn’t just angry, she’s hurt that the woman she’s grown to love like a sister is disrespecting her and her son this way. It’s not just Brooke’s opinions she’s upset about she’s upset that she’s tearing Thomas down to others-if she tears him down to Hope, who else is there?

It could cause other co-workers to gossip and even those who are close family-like Thomas’ younger half brother RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman) who Ridge would prefer acted like brothers. With all of their younger children at home and most working in Forrester Creations close to each other, the younger generation needs to get along. Brooke badmouthing Thomas just doesn’t fly with Taylor.

Taylor and Brooke have a meeting and it turns into more than a bit of a confrontation. Does she not understand how that could tear down everything he’s worked for to break free from his obsessional behavior? How would she feel if she had some kind of disparaging opinions about Hope and she talked about them to Thomas?

Little do any of them actually know, but Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) suspects that the tables are turned this time. It’s not Thomas obsessing over Hope, it’s Hope obsessing over Thomas!
