Sheila and her new squeeze, Bill Spencer (Don Diamont), made a real threat that has big teeth. They will report Taylor to the police for having attempted to murder Bill if the details of what Sheila did to her son and daughter-in-law in the alley behind Il Giordino are provided to the authorities.
Meanwhile, other developments are creating a scenario where Taylor’s ever-embattled son, Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson), will seek custody dominance of his son, Douglas Forrester (Henry Joseph Samiri). That will put Taylor in an awkward position because she knows her son is not equipped to handle and take lead responsibility for his only child.
In the pre-best friend days, Taylor would side with Thomas. But the friendship Taylor and Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) formed after both ladies realized ongoing fights for Ridge Forrester’s (Thorsten Kaye) attention were not best for their families indicates Thomas will not be backed.
Taylor will not necessarily leave Thomas hanging or argue that he deserves to be cut off from Douglas. But if Thomas intends to seek full custody, Taylor appears likely to want a different outcome.
Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle) is Brooke’s daughter. While Thomas says he values what Hope has brought to Douglas’ life, he will feel bitter about not being allowed back to work for Hope For The Future. That outcome will spark his desire to pay Hope back, and Taylor seems inclined to dissent.
Thomas, like Taylor, has endured periods of mental instability. One incident, that TPTB time-shifted backward, saw Taylor seek Bill out at the mansion she sold him years ago.
Allen’s character was forced to revisit the dark night when she entered Bill’s home, unbeknownst to him, picked up a golden gun that was present and loaded, and shot him in cold blood.
Bill did not see his shooter, as his back was turned to the area where Taylor entered. He later learned who committed the crime and opted to remain silent in deference to Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood). But that promise was recently broken due to the Sheila factor.
Sheila is using psychological warfare against Taylor, and it has worked. Allen’s character is fraught with guilt because what she did to Bill prevented John Finn Finnegan (Tanner Novlan) and Steffy from truthfully testifying against Sheila.
Taylor will be able to make the connection between her instability issues and Thomas’. He is not one for compromise. But Taylor could urge him to seek supervised visitation or shared custody at best on B&B.
