Ridge was right to tell Taylor that this time is different. Brooke loudly told everyone, including Ridge, that Taylor’s duplicity rendered their pact null and void.

In doing so, Brooke sought to reinforce that Ridge could not trust Taylor. It was a cleverly strategic move.

Ridge is sincere. He is ready to give love another chance, believing that Brooke is his so-called destiny.

Brooke shared her news with their son, RJ Forrester (Joshua Hoffman), and another feel-good reunited couple, Eric Forrester (John McCook) and Donna Logan (Jennifer Gareis). In doing so, she began reestablishing one of this show’s all-time pairings.

Taylor wished him well, with the caveat that he will face certain doom ahead. Unless something unexpected happens, this reunion feels like it will be given a good amount of plot time to play out on B&B.
