B&B Spoilers: Taylor In The Friend Zone – Thomas Hoping For Reconciliation

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) spoilers document that Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) told Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) that he is her best friend. He laughed that off, believing that Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) holds that title.

Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) was with his parents during their latest partially awkward conversation. He, like his sister Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), still hopes for a reconciliation.

Taylor was sporadically in Los Angeles, California, in more recent years. Hayes replaced Hunter Tylo (Taylor) in 2021, with that recast enabling a change in direction for the character.

Tylo was believed to be offered a chance to reprise the role she made famous but declined. Allen has performed solidly while also offering a fresh take on this legacy character.

Ridge was the main parental influence while Taylor was gone. Thomas arguably would have benefited from maternal guidance and his mother’s professional expertise as a psychiatrist if she would have been in town.

Kaye’s character fell into a pattern of enabling his son while Taylor was away. Most egregiously, Ridge refused to hold Thomas to account for running Emma Barber’s (Nia Sioux) car off Mulholland Drive to her death.

B&B Spoilers – Brooke Logan Is A Long-term Friend?

Brooke sincerely wants all tensions between her and Taylor and, by extension, their combined families not to be revisited. Both ladies forged their recent alliance because they recognized the decades-long fight over Ridge was not worth continuing and never led to any conclusive ending.

Ridge is still trying to wrap his mind around the two loves of his life rejecting him and finding common ground with each other. They put him in the friend zone. But he appears to believe Brooke has the potential to break her pact with Taylor if he applies enough persuasive pressure.

Lang’s character recently stopped Ridge’s overly flirtatious behavior. Passing that first test let Ridge know Brooke was serious about maintaining this new chapter of her life.

The Bold And The Beautiful Spoilers – Taylor Hayes Wants The Plan To Work

Taylor is enjoying her newfound friendship with Brooke, and finds it most enlightening. She never had someone to compare notes at the level Brooke offers.

Beyond the above, Taylor is trying to focus on her family and career without wallowing about Ridge being with Brooke, wondering if that will happen, or wanting to reconcile with him herself. So, there is potential for this friendship to be sustained long-term on B&B.
