Yes, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) was able to see his supposed destiny through an old Italian peephole, but that doesn’t mean it’s all real. He listens to an old wives tail — all thanks to Carter Walton (Lawrence Saint-Victor) — and gets caught up in the fantasy and a moment of passion with Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang).

Brooke thinks all of her dreams are coming true as Ridge declares his love. Maybe he is not sick of their merry-go-round after all and is willing to give it another try. Or maybe once he gets back to LA he will also return to reality because there is someone else there waiting for him who is bound to complicate things. The more things change, the more they stay the same.

B&B Spoilers – Taylor Hayes Still Desperately Wants Ridge Forrester

Poor Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) felt left out of the whole Italian fashion trip but that doesn’t mean she is down and out. Quite the contrary. Yes, she worries about her future and whether she will once again have to fight Brooke for Ridge, but if Ridge comes back with Brooke on his arm, she is not just going to roll over and take it.

She has been to this rodeo quite a few times before and knows how the game is played. She also knows in her heart that she needs to be with Ridge, so it turns out she is as much into the idea of destiny as Brooke is. She just doesn’t use the word quite as often as her ex-BFF.

That does not mean she is completely confident about what will happen next and her role in Ridge’s life. Perhaps she should remember she didn’t just make a pact with Brooke. She made one with herself that she was done with Ridge’s run-around after all these decades and was going to live her own life on her terms without him.
