The Bold and The Beautiful (B&B) spoilers and rumors tease the suspicious sudden decision to drop Krista Allen’s contract as Taylor Hayes may be for storyline purposes.

But with the drama of Eric Forrester’s (John McCook) possible death, would the powers that be really kill off Taylor off screen?

Drama may be the name of the game, and there are rumors of some behind the scenes drama as well-but they cannot be proven.

The powers that be have “killed off” Taylor before, but she was revealed to be alive later-this is a totally different scenario, with nothing in Taylor’s last scenes revealing anything.

She had been out of town and had returned to address situations among her adult children, and Steffy Forrester-Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood) and grandchildren had spent time with Grandma in Europe.

But that was in early November, and she hasn’t even been mentioned since-even with Eric’s crisis and his going downhill.

One would think Steffy and Thomas Forrester (Matthew Atkinson) would at least have mentioned a phone call!

B&B Spoilers: Leaks Say The Character Isn’t Needed

Leaks from behind the scenes, that cannot be proven, have been quoted that the character of Taylor Hayes isn’t needed.

It stands to reason with the sudden decision to let the actress go right after a cast photo was taken with her in it that storyline reasons were to blame.

As if poor Steffy and Thomas and their kids haven’t suffered enough if Grandpa Eric doesn’t ultimately pull through, does bad news need to come that their mother and grandmother died?

It wouldn’t be the first time that horrific deaths weren’t written to boost ratings in time of a slump. Remember, Ridge Forrester (Thorsten Kaye) pulled Steffy’s twin, Phoebe Forrester (Mackenzie Mauzy) dead from a car wreck-that was written by the same writer as BOLD has now.

Then there was the time Storm Logan (William DeVry) committed suicide to save Katie Logan (Heather Tom) so his heart could be transplanted in her.

This show’s writer really seems addicted to tragedy-Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery) died in her rival Brooke Logan’s (Katherine Kelly Lang) arms.

Thomas’ first wife and Douglas Forrester’s (Henry Joseph Samiri) birth mother died, as did Ridge’s first wife, Caroline Spencer Forrester (Joanna Johnson) and Douglas’ grandmother died as well!

Thorne Forrester (Winsor Harmon) also had a daughter, Aly Forrester (Ashlyn Pierce) who died, as well as her mother, Darla Einstein (Schae Harrison). No one should be surprised if Taylor’s death overseas is reported, since rumors say the character isn’t needed!
