The strongest woman on The Bold and the Beautiful for its first few decades was Stephanie Douglas Forrester played by Susan Flannery. Stephanie didn’t play around when it came to the people she loved and would give Brooke Logan a hellish life for taking both her husband and her son. In the end, however, Stephanie died in Brooke’s arms.

Now, that torch has been passed to her granddaughter and namesake, Steffy Forrester Finnegan (Jacqueline MacInnes Wood), and as the soap celebrates this episodic milestone, it does so by showcasing Steffy’s life. Yes, the memories are coming and Steffy fans are sure to have a grand old time as their fave is honored.

Yes, Steffy is now the show’s central heroine who is picking up the torch after her grandmother. We have watched her be a vixen and then grow into a mature young businesswoman who finally broke free of the toxicity that comes with following Liam Spencer (Scott Clifton) everywhere and forged her own life with a man of her own. She is a loving wife and mother now with two young children and seemingly has it all.

This 9,000th episode will focus on family, friends, and love and will do so by shining a spotlight on Steffy’s life. Expect to see loads of flashbacks to Steffy’s good times and bad, as well as her family rallying around her and singing her praises.

Last year when B&B celebrated its 35th anniversary, we got a Brooke-centric half-hour, but now we get one that revolves around Steffy. Will the Logans be left out of this scenario or will they somehow make their way into Steffy’s life as they frequently do? With Brooke Logan (Katherine Kelly Lang) and Taylor Hayes (Krista Allen) friends now and Hope Logan Spencer (Annika Noelle) getting along with Steffy, we can see the Logans and Forresters all coming together for this very special episode.
